We are a locally owned and operated business. My company was established in Lynchburg Virginia after Luther Walden, operator of Walden’s Speedometer Calibration, shut down operations after 25 years of serving central Virginia and surrounding areas.

We realized that people cited for speeding who were unknowingly speeding or had close calls e.g. 75/55, which can be considered reckless driving by speed, a class 1 misdemeanor, had no defense in court. As soon as we were in operation, I was simply amazed at my findings when testing speedometers. I was shocked to discover that in many cases, brand new vehicles from the manufacturer had discrepancies of 2 to 7 miles per hour with their speedometers. I soon learned that some speedometers were manufactured that way because of the warranty expiration, and others were simply defective from the assembly line.

I have discovered a lot over the last 20 years. You name it….I’ve seen it. I have met folks that were cited for 58MPH in a 55MPH posted speed limit zone and I’ve met the folks cited for 147MPH in a 55MPH speed limit zone. Chances are, if you are browsing our page, misfortune has found you.

We are here to help, if we can. Oh….when I asked the above-mentioned gentlemen, “why were you driving 147 miles per hour?” He responded, “because I could.” Alas, we cannot help in every case.
